List of municipalities and Mayors[edit]

List is created for the help to users whom dealing Turkish towns/cities' articles and related Templates. Source is www.yerelnet.org.tr. During my work, I aware that a few municipalities lost and a few records are not correct. I made some corrections. Web and mail data needs some additional work. Please source those corrections. Without any other sources, we should be listing here what we have on YerelNet, which should be quite up to date. An alternative might be listing the websites of the mayors which list the mayors as well, so we can use them as source. Deniz^T_C 18:23, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

rearrangement[edit]

I think we should create a section for each province and do the following:

{|some style stuff here, like transparent background
Table for district 1

Table for district 2

...

This way it should be more useful, and also we can reduce the size greatly. We might do the table for each province instead of for each district. Any thoughts? Deniz^T_C 17:35, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't like this, I think we should reorder the columns, the first column should be province, then district, then municipality. Deniz^T_C 17:39, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two suggestions[edit]

I checked several links to provinces and I think we need some improvements:

The political affinities should be given in a forth column.(party, independent etc.)
The statues of all municipalities are not equivalent: There are minor municipalities , district municipalities, intercity district municipalities (in metropolitan centers), province center municipalities and metropolitan center municipalities. This statue difference is not shown in the tables. It should either be shown in a separate column or as a color legend in the second column. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 09:58, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tag irrevelant[edit]

I think the unreferenced tag in the article is irrevelant. There is no text in the article . It is only composed of links to 81 provinces in Turkey. In this respect it is very similar to "Index" articles which require no sources. I propose to clear the tag. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 13:08, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
