Ordering the list[edit]

I find that an ordered list can be more useful that a random list. Maybe I am missing the ordering principle here. How are the national parks arranged within each geographic (North etc.) category? Is arranging the parks first by geography the most useful way? How would arranging the parks by province work? Alphabetical? Bejnar 04:07, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The tables are first broken up by region, which I feel is useful and logical. I've now started on adding a sortable function to the tables, by which you can view them anyway you want.— WiseKwai 10:30, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could somebody update the list? There are now 148 national parks in thailand (i.e. maps published in the royal gazette). 5 were gazetted in 2007: Mae Charim, Sri Nan (or Si Nan), Doi Pha Klong, Pa Hin Ngam and Phu Lan Ka. Among the 35 gazetted so far in 2008 are the 17 listed in the article Anon. (2008) Services at National Parks to Be Upgraded. Tivarati News, (Sept 4). available at http://www.tivarati.com/news/2008-09-04/40240408/. The 17 NP listed are : Doi Wiangpha, Mae Wang, Doi Jong, Phathai Cave, Khun Nan, Nanthaburi, Doi Phu Nang, Saken Cave, Pla Cave-Pha Suea Waterfall, Khun Phra Wor, Thong Phaphum, Lam Klong Ngu, Khao Sibha Chan, Phu Phalek, Klong Kaew, Khao Nan, Hat Khanom-Mo Ko Talay Tai.132.204.232.177 (talk) 21:41, 1 October 2008 (UTC) jpl[reply]

Khao Pra Viharn[edit]

Khao Pra Viharn (Isan) redirects to Preah Vihear Temple which is in Cambodia, very close to the border. Where is the park ? Explanations needed.--Io Herodotus (talk) 21:17, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The link should be to Khao Phra Wihan National Park. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:37, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Gazette?[edit]

This article needs some explanation of the term gazette, as in "has not yet been gazetted". Linking to the current Wikipedia page is of little help. Apparently this is some system of official record-keeping, but it's far from clear. Kortoso (talk) 18:48, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Where do the numbers in the tables come from? The only official reference I found is of 2016.[1] Alfie↑↓© 09:46, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
