What are the criteria?[edit]

What is the inclusion criteria for this list? Aside from the various early minarets missing (see Minaret#Origins), which can be easily added in the future, there are also various minarets listed here from the 15th to 17th century, which aren't the oldest anything, so it's unclear why they're here?
