Inclusion criteria[edit]

Regarding recent conflicts over whether Stephen Jerzak should be included in this list: Most of the people on this list may not be considered "famous", but merely notable. Many of the listed articles are stubs about people that are not well known outside of the region, especially the many articles about local politicians. Jerzak is not any less notable than the majority of people listed on this page. If general consensus decides that he should be removed, then many other entires would need to be re-evaluated.

Because very few "famous" people come from La Crosse, I argue that merely 'notable' articles should continue to be listed here. Uffda608 (talk) 22:04, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
