Unsourced BLP entries[edit]

I have asked for some outside opinion on this at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#List of people who escaped from prison. Fram (talk) 06:51, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreement that BLP entries should be sourced here (at the list page) or be removed. Fram (talk) 13:00, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List of people who escaped from prison multiple times

There is already an article called List of prison escapes but all the people on there escaped once, so I think either we should merge the two articles or rename this List of people who escaped from prison multiple times GiraffeBoy (talk) 14:14, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said below, I prefer renaming it. Into List of people who escaped from prison multiple times or List of people who escaped multiple times from prison. Sander.v.Ginkel (talk) 16:41, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming it would be the simplest option.GiraffeBoy (talk) 17:05, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support merge. While ultimately this would be more time-consuming, imo, it would be the most efficient. I feel that if we have one article titled List of prison escapes and another titled List of people who escaped from prison multiple times, it creates confusion because people would be wondering why notable people who escaped from prison more than once are not in the former article. I'd say these should be merged. Twyfan714 (talk) 21:40, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Where's Willie?[edit]

Willie Sutton escaped twice from Eastern State Penn in Philly and one other time from an unnamed prison, according to the FBI. http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/history/famous-cases/willie-sutton 69.253.158.202 (talk) 20:00, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Chezzo[reply]

Thank you! I added him to the list! Sander.v.Ginkel (talk) 21:54, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Criteria[edit]

What sort of criteria should this list have? I'm thinking there should be a minimum time that the fugitive alluded recapture at least - alot of convict return to jail within hours after all. GiraffeBoy (talk) 15:26, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Because also the article List of prison escapes exist, it is worth it to move the page to List of people who escaped multiple times from prison or copy the list to the List of prison escapes. --Sander.v.Ginkel (talk) 09:56, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
