Requested move 22 July 2020[edit]

The result of the move request was: moved to requested title per consensus. Also, the discussion gives off a vibe for WP:CRYSTAL, so the requested title is preferable in case there are changes in stamp plans. —usernamekiran (talk) 18:50, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2017 to 2020 → List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2017 to present – The page was moved with the reason "2021 hasn't even happened yet", but with that reasoning, we would have to move the page once every year for the next six years. To avoid having to move the page every year, we should just use "present" and wait until 2026 before moving the article again to List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2017 to 2026 (which would then be followed by the creation of List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2027 to present and an eventual move to List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2027 to 2036, if Wikipedia still exists in 2036). Or, we could just move the article back to List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2017 to 2026 and then expect List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2027 to 2036 to be created in 2027 or later. I’m fine with either of your renaming proposals. However, List of postage stamps of Pakistan from 2017 to 2026 would require the least amount of work to be done on other pages to fix wikilinks; so it should be preferable, I guess. (It’s a troubling thought that Wikipedia might not exist in 2036 and all our efforts will have gone to dust.) Idell (talk) 20:31, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
