Necessity?[edit]

Catrìona - what is the reason for moving it out of the main Ravensbrück_concentration_camp article? The list isn't too long to fit in there, and there is no need for articles with duplicated leads. Galobtter (pingó mió) 17:49, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Galobtter: I had noticed that the best articles on concentration camps, Mauthausen and Auschwitz, have separate lists. Perhaps you think that the list fits into the article. I typically read on my phone or my 11-inch laptop, and to me it takes up too much space. Separating the list also allows expansion from Category:Ravensbrück concentration camp prisoners without worrying about space in the main article, and enables more biographial details to be added; it would not fit as well into the main article if it were more than a list of names. I agree that the intro does not need to be duplicated, but if you can write a better lede for this article, be my guest. I don't think that question has any bearing on the debate to make this a separate article, though. Catrìona (talk) 18:11, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
