Talk:List of programs broadcast by Jetix (block)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of programs broadcast by Jetix (block)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "awn 20051230":

  • From List of programs broadcast by Toon Disney: DeMott, Rick (December 30, 2005). "Disney Sees New Original Movie & Series In January". Animation World Network. Retrieved April 4, 2014.
  • From List of programs broadcast by Jetix: DeMott, Rick (2005-12-30). "Disney Sees New Original Movie & Series In January". Animation World Network. Retrieved 2014-04-04.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:02, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Some shows listed with references that don't even link back to the relevant show?[edit]

I was looking at the page and I noticed a bunch of perculuar shows which I don't remember airing on the block at all. These being

- Road Rovers - I don't exactly know when this would've aired, but there's no proper evidence that this did air on Toon Disney or Jetix in the slightest. Not even a (proper) source to back this up and the source it mentions only mentions a source which does NOT mention Road Rovers anywhere.

- The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper - I can possibly see this airing on Jetix at one point (since Jetix was essentially a rebranded Fox Kids) and I could see this airing on Jetix's Spooktober. Although, I'm not sure how plausible that can be, judging from how this was essentially added with no source to back this up and no internet evidence can prove this did air.

- Astro Boy - Again, no source, only a YouTube video which shows nothing relating to Astro Boy 2003. This is obviously something which always creeps itself back onto Jetix pages, especially as many believe that Astro Boy did air on Jetix, however only Cartoon Network and Kids' WB would've aired it. Jetix wouldn't even have had the chance to acquire it.

- Carl² and Being Ian - This was the main reason I wanted to write this in the talk page. NONE of these programmes ever aired on Jetix US, not even on the ABC Family or Toon Disney blocks. I don't even know if there were even any promotions for these shows, but I'm imagining there weren't because I haven't known a single person who has even seen these programmes on the block, and from tapes I've seen from 2005 to 2007, not one of them show that yes, these shows did air. The only reason I can think of as to why these were added were because they aired on a foreign Jetix channel. At that point, I request that these are added to the "List of programmes aired on Jetix" page and not the Jetix (block) page here, with an actual source where this is true. I know Carl² aired on Jetix NL[1], so there's where the mixup happened.

Needs renaming?[edit]

Nice work!

I looked at this under new article review process.

So there is already a List of programs broadcast by Jetix which refers to other blocks, "blocks all around the world"

And the lead in this article "This is a list of television programs broadcast on the Jetix blocks on Toon Disney and ABC Family"

Looks like the current title does not fit into that scheme of things nor say what this list is. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 17:13, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Happy editing. North8000 (talk) 17:13, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain[edit]

Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain really were on Jetix.

Question[edit]

Can you edit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Disney_XD to comply with the fact that Animaniacs aired on Jetix and were integrated into Disney XD. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8C:980:3920:194B:1C6F:ED6B:B316 (talk) 23:50, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
