LMAO[edit]

I love Wikipedia's articles on Australian Television, they are so bad that I cannot help but laugh. Surely the Nine Network must of broadcast something during the 60's? Retro Agnostic (talk) 18:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moving from current to previous program section.[edit]

I notice that if a program is moved before it is aired more than 12 months ago, it is reverted with comment that it should not be moved until it was aired 12 months ago. This is misleading as nowhere in the article does it mention this. Unless such a note is included, I believe it should be moved as noon as it is known that it will no longer be aired.Fleet Lists (talk) 03:45, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That is fair enough. My only concern with the children's programming that I monitor, is that sometimes they are moved to "former", and then they must return to "current" when they return after only a few months. A general strategy on articles for shows that haven't officially been cancelled is to wait 12 months after their final airing. I just thought this was a good strategy as so many children's programs go off the air, and then return - it seems more logical than constantly changing their status. I am open to discussion. Perhaps there could be a different rule, such as 3 or 6 months? SatDis (talk) 11:52, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I dont really care about the length of time concerned. I think there needs to be something in the article which sets out what is happening so that users know what is going on.Fleet Lists (talk) 11:57, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
