Changes[edit]

There are some of stations that are incorrect in the list:

Cochrane station is CKXY at 91.5MHz owned by Golden West Broadcasting. The call letters of CFIT-1 and frequency 95.3Mhz is incorrect.
Strathmore station CKMR is not owned by Clear Sky but rather Golden West Broadcasting.
Drumeheller station CHOO 99.5 is not owned by Golden West Broadcasting but was sold to Stingray in 2019

List of radio stations in Alberta edit locked![edit]

Hi there, I was about to edit the List of radio stations in Alberta article and i discovered that this article is locked! I suggest that "Pending approval" for edits should be used rather than locking the article as its preventive anyone to edit it. I was going to update CKYL 610 Peace River, Alberta in the list of radio stations they moved to FM 94.9 as CKYL-FM in 2018. As well, I noticed the list of radio stations is listed as of 2018 instead of 2020 located near the top right-hand corner of the radio stations in Alberta article. Can someone make these changes and unlock the article so we can edit the page? Again, I suggest the "Pending approval" for editing like they are doing to the List of radio stations in Ontario. Untitled[edit]

Somebody seems determined to call California 103 in Calgary "jazz". CKUA plays more jazz than California 103. I changed the description to "smooth jazz", and hopefully we can leave it at that.

I am not sure who decided to put in the Radio Stations for Medicine Hat because there is major errors about them 92.9fm CHRK and 102.1 FM in Medicine Hat are not even on the dial here in Medicine Hat because the CRTC has yet to Approve them so who ever put up should change it right away. Also CJLT 99.5fm (Alive) is not moving to 93.7 fm until the CRTC approves it.I am not sure where got the inpression that Medicine Hat has 2 New Radio Stations when the CRTC has yet to Approve them also with Alive 99.5 moving to 93.7 is false. Also CFMY 96.1 is not called "MY FM" it is called "MY96" thank you...

Firstly, the University of Lethbridge already has its own campus radio station, CKXU-FM, which still has a website that still verifies the CKXU call sign. There's no valid reason why they would get (or even want) two radio stations. Secondly, CFMO-FM is already in use as the call sign of a radio station in Collingwood, Ontario, which makes it impossible for it to be reused for any other radio station — the only way that two radio stations can ever have the same base call sign as each other is if they're (a) operating on different bands (e.g. one AM and one FM, or one FM and one TV) in the same town or city, and (b) are owned by the same company. New Station[edit]

Edmonton seems to have a new FM station at 106.5 MHz. They are broadcasting a low power signal, and its only 56 KHz wide. I suspect they are testing equipment before they go full power.
