Topic of this article[edit]

I don't know if rural community is a specific and common title for these Canadian communities. The term seems much more broad than this and I wonder if this article should be redirected to Rural area. PDCook (talk) 20:25, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not rural area, but perhaps rural municipality, if there are enough similarities to the RMs in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. PK T(alk) 20:59, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I meant that if rural community is a common mis-naming of rural municipality, then it should be redirected there. However, if the term rural community was used in error then perhaps a redirect to rural area could be a useful search term (rural also redirects there).
