Proposed criteria for historic[edit]

Historicality of sites needs to be documented. Listing on the National Register of Historic Places suffices, but is not present for many historic sites in private hands.

Hmm, may be better to limit list to places listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States. The majority of these sites are in private hands. Many suffer threats from development, as well as from neglect, deterioration, damage from weather and other forces. If we limit to the RHPs only it is still an important list to develop, and one dimension of eligibility is very well defined. The degree to which a site is "threatened" or "highly threatened" may be more subjective. And it may be too hard to establish historicality and threat levels simultaneously. And if limit to RHPs, then relationship of this list to WP:NRHP is obvious and clear. So that is the way i am inclined to go, will define it that way in the article. doncram (talk) 19:12, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed criteria for threatened[edit]

Must be designated as threatened or endangered by an organization.

yeah - the article should define how sites are selected for this list.--Appraiser (talk) 17:00, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
