Precision[edit]

I read "transcribed a variety of Bach works, including ... and Movement 2 of Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen, BWV 12 (also the same as the Crucifixus from the Mass in B minor BWV 232) for piano, and Movement 3 of the Violin Sonata in C minor, BWV 1017, the same music mentioned above from Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen, BWV 12, the Introduction and Fugue from Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis, BWV 21, and the Andante from Aus tiefer Not schrei ich zu dir, BWV 38 for Organ or Harmonium". I dropped "the melody of" BWV 12 because there is hardly a melody, he used mostly the passacaglia bass. Where is an "Introduction and Fugue" in BWV 21? Where is an "Andante" in BWV 38? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:08, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading Title[edit]

I think that the title of the article is misleading. I expected a (more or less) complete list of transcriptions of the works of J.S.B. However, this is more a summary and "notable" transcriptions by, for example, Raff and Cailliet are omitted. I would suggest to either change the title of the article by deleting "List of", or actually making a list of transcriptions.Joris Peters (talk) 23:00, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
