Confusion over individuals Named Little Bear The article's current photo appears to be of a Cheyenne man named Little Bear who was present at the Sand Creek massacre in the United States, not the Cree leader who was a son of Chief Big Bear. I have changed the photo to what I believe is a picture of the Cree leader. 24.69.200.7 (talk) 02:07, 5 July 2020 (UTC) MF[reply]

The right Little Bear I added a photo of the Cree leader Little Bear, as verified by the Montana Historical Society. VanillaBean28 (talk) 19:58, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Two different Big Bears[edit]

I suspect that the Big Bear who was father of Little Bear ("BB1") and the Big Bear that we have an article on ("BB2") are two different people. BB2's biography implies he always lived on the northern prairies near the North and South Saskatchewan rivers. There no indication that he ever lived near the Snake River and raised one or more children there. But I'm not an expert in this field. Indefatigable (talk) 20:30, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
