Pilot movie - acting[edit]

As one who watched the series growing up, I am used to the quality of the show during those years. I just recently watched the pilot movie and I have to say the acting was just not up to par with the series. It was down right horrible. I made it thru the whole movie though since I had never watched it before. It amazes me that the same actors were in both. I wonder what made the difference in the acting quality.

Filmed in early 1974. Not 1973[edit]

According to wordpress.com or any website, the pilot movie was filmed in January 1974. And according to other sites on Google, Melissa Gilbert was 9 years old before she was 10 in May and Melissa Sue Anderson was 11 before she was 12 in September. 81.152.18.36 (talk) 19:31, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
