Clare Torry[edit]

Shouldn't Clare Torry be listed as co-writer of Great Gig In The Sky? Not sure what the packaging for the release shows, but my understanding (e.g. from Wikipedia's own page on the song), is that she is now co-credited as writer after a court case? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikeholden (talkcontribs) 04:30, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, she should be credited. Ross-c (talk) 23:31, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Aye, the argument that the singers on the tour came up with a new vocal arrangement shouldn't alter the original songwriting credits. Would a new piano/keyboard arrangement lead to Rick Wright no longer being credited as the original son-writer? Shouldn't the credit be Wright/Torry Arr. Whoever/Whoever, etc.? Torry isn't credited in the Live at Pompeii credits, so I see no reason why this article should be different. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.92.38.21 (talk) 00:08, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It was recorded at the Amphitheatre of Pompeii and was the first public performance at the venue since AD 79. - should be corrected[edit]

Pink Floyd performed Live at Pompeii in 1972. So this cannot be ' first public performance at the venue since AD 79'.

The Pink Floyd performance was in 1971 and it was not a public performance - the only spectators were the crew, cameramen and director. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.92.38.21 (talk) 00:10, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is NOT AT ALL the first public perfomance at the venue since AD 79. There was some before like the one of Claudio Baglioni in 2000. https://ricerca.repubblica.it/repubblica/archivio/repubblica/2000/08/13/baglioni-espugna-pompei-concerto-sotto-il-vulcano.html

Echoes[edit]

Why is Echoes omitted from the track listing...it's the best part of Live at Pompeii! 49.186.55.55 (talk) 20:20, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
