No mention of Shudra designation?[edit]

Is there a reason the article makes no mention of Shudra Lohar?

I'm also a little patchy on the easy designation of the Lohar as Rajputs. Do other Rajputs consider them fellows, or do the Lohar just call themselves Rajputs?

Are all Lohar Shudra, or just specific portions? MatthewVanitas (talk) 16:46, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please note Mr. MatthewVanitas that we are talking about Lohar clan and not the Gaduliya Lohar (blacksmith). As we know hinduism is split into many sub-castes which leads to a bigger confusion. Please ignore the caste system to keep the article unbiased from personal hatred and injustice to a particular sect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.167.105.59 (talk) 18:15, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So we should "ignore the caste system" yet the article is filled with the word Kshatriya? MatthewVanitas (talk) 18:21, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lohar caste is brahman[edit]

As we know lohar caste belong to Vishwakarma community. It is believe that Bhagwan Vishwakarma is ancestor of lohar or panchal caste .Bhagwan Vishwakarma is an architect of universe and craftsman. Lohar is also known as Panchal Brahmin in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, etc. Bhagwan Vishwakarma is the 7th son of Bhagwan Brahma. In photo aur statue of Bhagwan Vishwakarma apply Brahm tilak on his face which used by Brahman. In ancient times a marriage is not complete if Vishwakarma Brahman or Vishbrahmin are not present there. How anyone can consider that son of God is sudra. In hindu mythology varn is desired by their karm not by birth. Many Vishwakarma Brahman wear Janaeu. Thesharmaji (talk) 17:30, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
