Added some stores from memory. Will attempt to add rest later

Pure advertising[edit]

Yes, I like London Drugs too but this page is pure company bumf; its relevance to "Canadian Culture" is risible.

Eventually the sales pitch will have to go. It demeans the concept of an encyclopedia. The same content could be rewritten as the corporate mission statement or an explanation of their marketing approach. It just doesn't fly as factual information the way it now reads. Jesses James[edit]

What is that about? Otherwise, it seems mostly like advertising (however I hope my edit help cut that down a bit)

This is a giant ad for London Drugs, and it's laughable that it remain up in this form.

Working On It[edit]

I'm in the process of cleaning this up and removing much of bias. Any suggestions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tannerwaldo (talkcontribs) 20:33, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Some thoughts. The Customer Service section listing their refund policy is not appropriate, in my opinion. This article should be more of a corporate biography of when it was founded, what it sells and where it's located, and maybe it's profits. Every major store has a 30-day refund policy. If someone wants to know this info, they can go to the store's website. I don't like it.
Also, I'm not a fan of listing every store location in a giant list like that. The articles on Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart and other stores don't do this. The number of locations by province is all that's needed. It just makes the article look like a long list and it's not really relevant info. --Mezaco (talk) 18:29, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

London Drugs is a private corporation, so it doesn't release any financial information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tannerwaldo (talkcontribs) 15:40, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Photo[edit]

Can somebody add a better photo? The current photo of some videotapes on a shelf shows nothing of this company's image or look. It could be anywhere. Can someone maybe add an outdoor photo of the outside of a London Drugs store? That seems to be the most standard photo format for stores (that's what is found on the articles for Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, etc). --Mezaco (talk) 18:24, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think someone would have to go take a picture of the store and upload it. Here's an example http://www.clearliteglass.com/wp-content/uploads/clearliteglass/LondonDrugs-8thStreet2_gallery.jpg but I cannot find any images on the web where the owner gives permission for it to be reused. Removing photos/pictures from a page[edit]

How does one remove a photograph from a page, such as the one on London Drugs' page? RjCan (talk) 12:02, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wheres the Drugs?[edit]

They are called London Drugs, the "drugs" should be explained more. What % of the store is drugs etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.241.37.187 (talk) 04:35, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
