The result of the move request was: To be moved. Clear consensus that Long Beach should redirect to the CA city. Note: requires admin assistance, which I will request. (non-admin closure)  — Amakuru (talk) 10:00, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Long BeachLong Beach (disambiguation)WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT of Long Beach is Long Beach, California. Top google search results for books, news, and web search all point to that city Prisencolin (talk) 23:20, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: WP:USPLACE applies here, meaning that the Long Beach, California city article should remain where it is with a [[Placename, State]] "comma convention" title. If there is consensus for a page move, the Long Beach page should only be converted to a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Zzyzx11 (talk) 03:26, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Combining this pageview analysis with this one shows that, despite all the entries on the dab page, of things called "Long Beach", the California city get around 72% of traffic. That's much more than any other topic, and much more than all the rest combined, as per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. It's also a significant long-term topic as well. • Support per nom and Dohn joe. Getting 72 percent of traffic makes the California city a clear primary topic by any measure. Calidum ¤ 03:46, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – I am annoyed that Long Beach, California is currently placed at such a low location, forcing readers to waste time to look at other topics. sst✈ 15:46, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
