Comments/questions[edit]

In the lead it states;
"The Police Commissioner is Michael Tagney, who was appointed after former Police Commissioner, Thomas Sofield, Sr. retired on November 29, 2012."

Could you please fix that? It is not "November 29, 2012" so the tense is all wrong and if the date is correct, then who is the Commissioner?

In the history section it states;
"The Long Beach Police Department, commonly referred to by the acronym LBPD"

The abbreviation should be included somewhere in the first sentence if possible. -- Cheers, Riley Huntley 02:24, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the history section it states;
"Now, the LBPD has state-of-the-art equipment, including non-lethal weapons."

"State-of-the-art" needs to be changed to a more neutral word. -- Cheers, Riley Huntley
