I wonder if they're any relation of W.H. Bence of Yate? ETA: yes. Location[edit]

This photo https://www.flickr.com/photos/brizzlebornandbred/3410595415 shows the works as being on Kingsfield Lane in Longwell Green. I'd hazard a guess that it provided some of the land for the leisure development North of the Avon Ring Road or the retail park to the South of it, and stood at or below the South end of the currently existing Kingsfield Lane.
