Style[edit]

At least Philip III of Spain (in the Treaty of London) claimed that Biscay was a county and not a lordship. — LlywelynII 11:27, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]


Fortun Sanchez de Mendoza[edit]

I am working on the Zambrana family history and i have found a conection to the HOuse Mendoza y Haro or the Lords of BIscay. Fortun Sanchez de Mendoza is son to the 5th lord of biscay and his brother lope sanchez was the 6th lord of viscay after his father and receiveing the Haro house Family crest. Its in spanish but its a record of all the lords of viscaya and how the king of psain vw to keep this records in spain and in England.
