Could someone look into this "lyricist Giulio Rapetti alias Mogol" thing? It is either added by an overzelos fan of his or someone else trying to take credit for Lucio Battisti's work.--Rayc 15:07, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I looked it up on Wiki-Italian, and I'm going to ask my boss at a radio station (avid Battisti fan). But from what I have seen, it appears to be true. I added a picture and some stuff on the page. It's just a start, really. Yanksox 21:39, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As I deeply contributed to the writing of Lucio Battisti's article in it.wiki, I can assure you that Mogol (which has an article in it.wiki Giulio Rapetti alias Mogol) was if not the most influential, one of the most influential persons in Battisti's musical career. Together with Battisti, Mogol has written his most famous hits from 1969 until 1980, year of their separation. I think there was a collection of songs released in 1996 as "Pensieri, Emozioni". I'm not sure if it was a hits compilation, unreleased works, or whatever. Just thought I'd mention it as I didn't see it in the article. Someone more familiar with the artist could probably shed more light on it though. Thanks. Nobody knows because Lucio Battisti's wife Grazia Letizia Veronese havn't declared the cause of Battisti's dead. Mogol says that it was tumor at lymphatic system, but it's unofficial. This is the official medic report: "il paziente è deceduto per intervenute complicanza in un quadro severo sin dall'esordio". It can't help us...

I consider weird that the only thing the Wikipedia has to say about two of the best album in pop music history is "Battisti's last albums were Cosa succederà alla ragazza (1992) and Hegel (1994). I look forward for recognition to consolidate about the value of these albums.

Albums notability[edit]

Two years ago, an user massively tagged many of the articles about Battisti's albums as probably not-notable. Thanks, I just removed these tags! I didn't find any note, not in talk pages nor in the edit summary.
