Problems[edit]

The article is currently a bit too much like a Jo Bradford fan page, which isn't appropriate for an encyclopedia. I made quite a lot of changes, but didn't alter the 'fan-site' aspect. While I'm sure she's good at it, the article needs a more neutral approach. The subject may satisfy the notability guidelines, but I'm not sure that Jo Bradford herself does. I am writing a dissertation about luminograms and this is all from my notes, but point taken about fan-site though, I can write up more about some other artists who did black and white or cibachrome versions (when I haver done more research for my dissertation), but it is a pretty unusual artform and I haven't come across many other contemporary people doing it (yet!), Moholy Nagy et al made black and white versions, which are not very contemporary - however I will make some changes to make it more factual and link to other entries about luminograms too if this helps make it more neutral? You will see now that I have removed all selling site links to Bradford and left only the info ones like on Saatchi's gallery, I have also removed any information not particulalry relevant to luminograms (Just the facts man!!) Ha ha - yes I am well aware of that page - a regular visitor there I am!! Actually I was wondering how you can link the 2 pages to each other as they are directly relevant to each other. Anyway, I have just extracted a bit more infor from my notes, some info about other contemporary artists who use the 2 other methods to make luminograms, Corry in Black and White and The Carter's work in Cibachrome (colour positive, dye destruction method) - I am sure you will weave you wordy magic to make this all fit the bill appropriately! Hi You will see that thanks to an A-Level student who is also researching this, and has shared his notes - thanks Andy - I have been able to add a bit more in general. I feel that it is well rounded now and wonder if we can archive this discussion page - I cringe at my own chattiness sometimes :)

Multiple uses of the term[edit]

Since the term luminogram has three meanings (at my count) in different fields —art photography, forensics and medical imaging— this article could be 'disambiguated', but those articles will need to be written and on subjects outside my area of expertise — any takers?Jamesmcardle^(talk) 06:56, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
