A stupid question...[edit]

Anyone else out there mistake "Lunatic Fringe" for a Pink Floyd song when you first heard it?? Shotguntony (talk) 02:43, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is shear deduction and math, but I would say yes, and it seems unlikely that you will cross paths with anyone in that group. Why was that a stupid question? My76Strat (talk) 04:27, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Track length[edit]

According to Amazon, the length of this track on the album As Far as Siam is 4:23.[http://www.amazon.com/As-Far-Siam-Red-Rider/dp/B000007S7I] It would be nice if Wikipedians would check their facts before reverting people who arrive to help,[1] Such blind reverts disincentivize people from improving Wikipedia.24.22.208.138 (talk) 23:17, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Of course it's possible that the version released as a single is somewhat shorter than that on the LP, as is suggested by the photograph. This would seem an inherent problem with the infobox, as it presents a single, while the article itself discusses the LP track .24.22.208.138 (talk) 23:32, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not a fan magazine[edit]

This is Wikipedia, not a fan mag for teenagers. The article is full of overblown fan-boy language, and unsupported opinion; words like "sinister" and "powerful". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.48.69.85 (talk) 14:11, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cultural Impact[edit]

"The undercurrent of indigence and violence and hate, as evidenced by the election of Trump, makes this an evergreen song. But now the lunatic fringe is no longer the fringe." - Todd Rundgren, 2017
