Her being a politician in the infobox[edit]

This was removed, but I reverted it. De Vega was one of the first female sportspeople-politicians; in fact she still is the only female in Category:Filipino sportsperson-politicians (I'll add a few others later). Sportspeople who became councilors have these in their infoboxes, with the most recent examples being James Yap and Paul Artadi. De Vega's stint is no different from those two men. Alright, I understand the rationale for this case.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 03:25, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Full name[edit]

@Jasper Santiago Caygill could you provide the link to the video supporting the claim that her full name is "Maria Lydia de Vega-Mercado". We can use YouTube videos as cites, provided it came from the TV Patrol itself or an official account and not just reposted by a third-party users.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 03:29, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Too bad, its a Twitter source which is something we can't back up through Wayback Machine or similar archive sites so that the source remains verifiable even if the Tweet was removed. But no worries I retrieved another source for the full name. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 16:23, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
