PRUPIM manages all of the property for Prudential plc, one of the biggest companies in the United Kingdom. Prudential has provided life assurance policies to people all over the world and it has always kept its promise to those it insures.

Not all companies have been able to keep this promise, however. Prudential's success comes, in part, from its ability to successfully manage the monthly premiums (which add up to billions of pounds) it receives in order to cover its liabilities to card holders of the life assurance policy. Much of this investment success derives from the principle of diversification. Indeed, Prudential does not only invest in the stock market. They invest in alternative investments such as property. Thus, PRUPIM's importance becomes quite clear - they insure that Prudential's assets are not jeopardised so it can continue making its promises to its cardholders. Given the volatility of the property market over the past two years, protecting these property assets is no easy feat.

PRUPIM also represents the twelfth largest Real Estate firm in Europe based on assets under management. It competes with corporations such as ING Real Estate, LaSalle Investment Management, UBS Global Asset Management, Land Securities, Legal & General, British Land, CB Richard Ellis, Credit Suisse, and Morley. Take note that Morley, Land Securities, British Land, Legal & General, CB Richard Ellis, and Jones Lang LaSalle all have Wikipedia pages.

PRUPIM sets new standards in property sustainability. It has set targets that companies have not even considered - and it has broken them. It's dedication to the environment notwithstanding, PRUPIM exemplifies a company dedicated to its constituents.

Well, many administrators would have deleted this as primarily advertising, but since the company is probably actually important enough, I went in and removed the promotional part, and changed the language and format so it matches our style. If you're going to do PR for a company, at least learn the conventions of the medium you're writing for. We do not include a list of officers, we have standard ways of doing headings and references. And we would appreciate figures for ₤ turnover and value of holdings. You might see our guide to writing Wikipedia articles--and also our Business FAQ. Note that the article has been moved to the full name. DGG (talk) 15:49, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
