Suggested move[edit]

I am not sure about notability for this term, as I see only 7 papers in Scopus with the word used, or which only 2 are highly cited:

Proudnikov, D., Timofeev, E., Mirzabekov, A. Immobilization of DNA in polyacrylamide gel for the manufacture of DNA and DNA-oligonucleotide microchips (1998) Analytical Biochemistry, 259 (1), pp. 34-41. Cited 127 times.

Fotin, A.V., Drobyshev, A.L., Proudnikov, D.Y., Perov, A.N., Mirzabekov, A.D. Parallel thermodynamic analysis of duplexes on oligodeoxyribonucleotide microchips (1998) Nucleic Acids Research, 26 (6), pp. 1515-1521. Cited 123 times.

the term "Microarrays of Gel-immobilized Compounds" adds nothing more, but the term "three-dimensional dna microarrays" gives 120 papers, of which the most cited are

From this I conclude ther term is an occasionally used acronym ofr mperhaps a trademark for a particular kind, and the article needs to be moved to three-dimensional dna microarray and rewritten. The tone is too much like a press release or a review article in a journal or textbook--this is a general encyclopedia . See our guide to writing Wikipedia articles. It is, in fact, so much like a review that i wonder if any of it has been previously published. If there are no objections, I will move the artile, but let others rewrite, adding a wider range of references. DGG (talk) 08:53, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
