Clarification needed[edit]

The article indicates that FDA premarket approval was received in 2004, even though the first clinial trial report was not received until 2005. How is this possible? WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 20:01, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Catheter in blood vessel?[edit]

The article states that a balloon catheter is used to stop blood flow during retrieval as it may 'hinder' the retrieval process. Yet stoppage of blood flow is exactly the problem with ischemia!
