Richard Dean Anderson[edit]

As the entire premise is a parody of Anderson's MacGyver, and Anderson portrays MacGruber's father, it would be a much needed and welcomed addition to this article detailing whether or not RDA appears... 68.52.147.99 (talk) 03:41, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't see him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.161.183.221 (talk) 13:01, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

who wrote SERBIA instead of SIBERIA[edit]

and even linked wiki page of republic of serbia lol i can understand that most people mix those two, when i say most i mean boys and girls from the US :P and if russian speaking soldiers and hq wasn't a giveaway than you only had to read what it says in the opening "dzhugdzhur mountains, eastern siberia" which is...say...closer to china and japan then to europe lol its closer to alaska than to serbia. Wrong reference, unsure how to correct[edit]

Perhaps someone more talented than I can fix this reference. Currently it is #6, about 'MacGyver' creator wants to stop 'MacGruber' film. The link doesn't go to that page. But I found it at: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/blogs/thr-esq/macgyver-creator-stop-macgruber-film-63628 BUT the article date now claims to be Dec 21, 2010, but I suspect this is incorrect because it refers to MacGruber opening in April, and I saw it on TV already (in March 2011). I don't know what the protocol is in this situation, so it's up to you. 24.57.239.43 (talk) 07:55, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Mixed Reviews"?[edit]

Really? Just because you can find one good review in a sea of negative reviews doesn't automatically make them all "mixed reviews". It's much more accurate to say "The film received mostly negative reviews". The movie was a complete flop and it isn't being characterized this way until almost the last sentence in the "Critical Reception" section. Why bury the useful information? 73.136.92.159 (talk) 17:05, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Probably not what you had in mind, but I've removed the synthesis. Of the reviews Rotten Tomatoes used, 47% of them were positive. That's about half positive, half negative. That said, we do not have anything to judge whether the positive reviews said it was the greatest film ever made, the negative reviews said it was painful to watch, all of the reviews were close to average or (more likely) some kind of mix. Instead of combining material from RT, Metacritic, various reviews, etc. and coming up with our interpretation, saying what the sources say covers it. - SummerPhDv2.0 00:49, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
