Falsely claiming "flawed" climate science - appreciates prayer instead

"Any decisions we make should be based on sound science rather than political, social or personal profit agendas. No computer model yet has correctly predicted the Earth’s actual temperatures. We simply do not understand enough about the causes and effects related to our weather. Yet, some in Washington continue to push for new regulations and added taxes based upon those flawed models. Their policies would cost us jobs as the economy continues to struggle...A prayer for rain, however, would be appreciated."

CBS Sunday Morning Piece

On 6-10-2012 Sunday Morning ran a piece on WWII Fighter Pilot Billie D. Harris of TX. His widow could not get any information on her husband's death. She wrote repeatedly to the government for answers, the last time in 2005 to Texas Rep. Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Armed Services Commitee. He responded that he was still listed as MIA. In fact, he never even looked into the matter. Turns out, Billie D. Harris is buried in The American Cemetary in Normandy, France. In fact, in nearby Les Ventes the main road is named after him, Place Billie D. Harris. Mr. Harris' cousin solved the mystery simply by asking for Harris' military records. There it was, in black and white, in the national archives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.111.172.32 (talk) 05:35, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
