Incorrect and misleading[edit]

The compound depicted in the article is not macromomycin B. The chemical structure of macromomycin B is to date undisclosed and therefore not known. The compound depicted, although a known biofilm inhibitor against the causative agent for Cholera Vibrio cholerae, is not known to be an anticancer agent. While this is in fact true for the compound macromomycin, of which the shown structure is a known degradation product (hence probably shown), the depiction of this extremely simplified structure might possibly lead to a dangerous misconception. 128.227.1.8 (talk) 17:58, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
