Here is the old pic, in case she gets really famous and we need to expand the article...

Character in Lost[edit]

I'm taking out the mention of her death in Lost as a spoiler warning (and it is a spoiler... i just got spoiled, having not yet gotten that far in the series) would look out of place in the article. Perhaps her death could be discussed on the Shannon character page. Ignus 00:41, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've removed it again. The biography page does not need details about the Shannon character. That's what we have the Shannon Rutherford page for. Baryonyx 07:43, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
It is a spoiler, and should stay out of her article. Season 2 hasnt even started yet where I am and I just got spoiled by this talk page topic, hmph... Banes 15:04, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hold on, I am confused. The page says she would be killed off lost if she accepted the role in X Men 3, but the producers did kill her off and she is not in X men 3? Then why did the producers kill her off?

Indeed. I suppose they could have canned her out of spite, for a totally unknown reason, or she may be coming back some how - it's that kind of show. Regardless, the X-Men speculation should be documented, removed, or perhaps equivocated to "rumored." It's clear that she was desired for the role and in some kind of talks about it, but I haven't seen anything to verify the alleged ultimatum by the Lost producers. --RolandStJude 22:58, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it should be altered. The Shadowcat article states "The film's first director Bryan Singer originally intended the role to go to Maggie Grace[5], but Page was cast when Brett Ratner succeeded Singer.[1]" and is sourced twice. Lhall 01:31, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Went ahead and edited that part, but the removed section should be added in again if someone can dig up a reference: "But the producers of Lost told her that if she took the role they would kill her off Lost, and so the role was given to Ellen Page." Lhall 16:00, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Should this YouTube video get a mention? [1]

Yeah I came here because of that... Very interesting.

"She is also returnig to Lost playing Shannon Rutherford. She is appearing in one episode." I took out this line because it's a spoiler.

Shannon is no longer in the show the last episode she appeared in was in 2007 called "Exposé". I read the reason why she was killed off because the character was only needed for so long. The same thing with her brother in the show. When the characters were created they were only created for "X" amount of episodes, same thing with characters like michelle rodriguez. External Link #3[edit]

Can somebody explain why this link is on this page? It links to some teenager's website that has no mention of Maggie Grace. (Or if it does then I can't find it; the website is really annoying..) ~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.211.156.10 (talk) 07:09, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

Very good read. I was going to leave some comments, but I decided to just fix them myself. Just a few observations: in citation templates, you should use the work field (rather than publisher) for magazines, newspapers and journals; it read pretty well, but I noticed that there were several run-on sentences. Good job! -- Scorpion0422 18:33, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
