Date of birth - conflicting sources[edit]

There seems to be disagreement over his date of birth. A number of IPs have been changing it regularly for over a month without providing sources when prompted. Having initially assumed good faith the persistence despite warnings appeared unconstructive. Having searched more deeply this is the outcome:

13 May 1953:

16 Aug 1958:

I think it is likely that the proliferation of 1953 dates is due to Wikipedia, and I am unable to find anything reliable to support that date. The news articles are more convincing for the 1958 date, in particular the Times of India which is well respected.

As such I will change the DOB on the basis of multiple reliable sources to 16 Aug 1958. If anyone has access to a more reliable source, a biography perhaps, please add it or change accordingly. |→ Spaully ^τ 08:43, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
