I think there should be more writen in this article!

I was quite surprised I saw only a few sentances writen in this article "make-up artist". I'm a make-up artist though if anyone reads this or have any suggestions, I would be happy if we made it a bit better article what do you think?

Misleading statement

The statement "Make-up artists are normally extremely well-paying jobs, especially in the modeling and photography world." is contradicted by http://careers. stateuniversity.com/pages/88/Makeup-Artist.html which cites data from the US Bureau of Labor. Spelling disconnect between title and lede

The title of the article is make-up artist. The lede spells it makeup artist. One spelling should prevail throughout the article. Is this a regional difference, optional hyphen, or what? —C.Fred (talk) 17:24, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Yes, there needs to be consistency in the spelling of make-up. I propose using 'make-up' with the hyphen to abide by the spelling in other similar Wikipedia pages (like this one for Make-up (disambiguation)). We may include the alternative 'makeup' in parenthesis at the beginning as well. Saracates (talk) 03:18, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Saracates
