Malayaman is caste using title as udaiyar and now in parkavakulam caste in tamilnadu. Kallar is kallar only in tamilnadu caste list but malayaman named as malayaman in tamilnadu caste list, so no one claims malayaman it origin from parkavakulam. Kovilur S. Malayaman caste claims[edit]

Vanniar is a medieval title. None of the reference mention that malayaman chieftains are from Palli ( modern day vanniyars ) community. All reference talk about chieftains in srilanka. Malayaman

were chieftains in south India. Palli ( modern day vanniyars ) are trying to create false history. Burton stein himself has said many castes claim connection to Malayaman. So we should include all  those castes who claim. Those castes would be Udaiyar, Agamudaiyar, Kallar,,.... The palli ( modern day vanniyars ) have manipulated even official records. Dr balasubramanian has written how they have manipulated the government records to achieve this.
