I think the content on from the referenced website is not entirely true. Firtly, I was born in Mamelodi and I know that the people resetled by the Apertheid government were not only coming from Ladysalburn but also from other locations where blacs were forcibly removed. I will ask older folks in the township about these places since most of the youth have no clue, and it is otherwise not properly documented in other websites talking about the history of Mamelodi.
