"Turkish war of independence"[edit]

To suggest the "Turksih war of independence" only occured in the West of the empire and violence was spared from the south is silly. Christians did at one point make the majority before the war - please read this book [[1]] - their is a reason why they make only a small minority today. Please try to understand that with edits like these [[2]] you will get nowhere in wikipedia. Chaldean 04:02, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Source for saying Mardin is in Turkish Kurdistan[edit]

Konli17, there is no source for your edit saying Mardin is in Turkish Kurdistan. Amr ibn Kulthoumعمرو بن كلثوم (talk) 21:28, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is now. Konli17 (talk) 21:58, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The travel site source you added is not the best reference for such claim. Amr ibn Kulthoumعمرو بن كلثوم (talk) 03:49, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Geographical (magazine) is from the Royal Geographical Society. Why do you describe it as a "travel site source"? Konli17 (talk) 03:59, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You will need a high calibre scholarly source. This is a serious claim. Amr ibn Kulthoumعمرو بن كلثوم (talk) 04:30, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nice try, but there's zero basis for that. Konli17 (talk) 01:08, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
