Billingham is quite clearly notable, and a minute of research would tell you this. An award-winning comedian, an award-winning and regularly bestselling crime-writer. Barbara Osgood 16:26, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

POV issues[edit]

The only problem I can see with the article is that some of the language isn't WP:NPOV. For example: A messy contract killer and the past cases of a former colleague blur together in The Burning Girl as the past meets the present in a symphony of violence. - this may be a quote from a review that wasn't properly quoted. To the great surprise of absolutely no-one Thorne (along with Phil Hendricks, Russell Brigstocke and Melita Perera) pops up in this book, although the narrator claims she forgot his name immediately.
