fed by the Sudbury River??[edit]

"When The Sudbury Reservoir was built in 1893-95, it was predominantly fed by the Sudbury River"

The Sudbury Reservoir is well upstream of the Sudbury River (up Stony Brook). It's hard to see how it ever could have been fed by the Sudbury River. It drains, though a series of dammed reservoirs, to the Sudbury River, but I don't believe the Sudbury River could ever have been used as a source for the Sudbury reservoir.
