    Pass/Fail:

General[edit]

  • All mentions of the "Marshal Islands" needed to be changed to "Marshall Islands" since that is the official spelling for the country.
  • All mentions of the word "olympics" must be captialized
  • Wikilink the names of the athletes sent by the Marshall Islands at the first instance they are mentioned in the article.

History[edit]

  • "and gained International Olympic Committee" - the International Olympic Committee needs its acronyms put in parentheses
  • "during the IOC's on February 9, 2006." - Looked through the source and you need to clarify that the Marshall Islands' recognition occurred during the IOC's meeting in Turin, Italy on February 9, 2006.

Athletics[edit]

  • "This was the first olympic appearance for Garstang and the second olympic appearance for Nemra." - reword the second half of this sentence to avoid repetition of "olympic appearance"
  • For the second "The medals in the event went to athletes from Russia and South Africa." sentence, I think replacing the word "event" with "discipline" would be better for variety
    •  Done
  • "Haley Nemara competed in the women's 800 meter, where she finished sixth out of seven athletes in her heat." - Haley Nemara participated in the women's 800 meter, where she came sixth out of seven athletes in her heat.
  • In the key mini-section, all notes bar the first one should be removed since they are not used in the article

Swimming[edit]

  • "The medals in the event went to athletes from France, the United States, and Brazil" - missing a period at the end of this sentence.
  • "Ann-Marie Hepler competed in the women's 50 meter freestyle, where she finished third in her heat and placed forty-ninth in the standings" - Ann-Marie Hepler partook in the women's 50 meter freestyle, where she placed third in her heat and ranked forty-ninth in the standings.

Going to place this article on hold until all of the points raised above have been addressed. MWright96 (talk) 19:38, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
