IS not WAS[edit]

He has not ruled out a return to the show in the future, so surely it should still be is.

Image caption[edit]

I've add a "caption" option to the EastEnders infobox. It's optional, but will be useful for cases where a caption is necessary. Divorce?[edit]

On the Sonia Fowler page it says that her and Martin were married from 2004–06, 2007–11. But on this page it says 2004–06, 2007–present. I'm just wondering if it's been forgotten about or not. Sonia said in 2011 that she and Martin had split up, but not that they had divorced, so as far as we know, they're still married. –anemone projectors– 14:02, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

They got divorced in 2006 so unless either have referenced getting married again on screen, or another character referenced them doing so off screen, then they are still divorced. And I don't count references to them being married as valid as that's probably bad continuity. A specific reference to them remarrying is the only valid source.

First appearance[edit]

Martin didn't appear in episode 47 (30th July 1985) - the 'doof doof' being Pauline getting into a taxi to hospital. He didn't appear in the next episode (1st August 1985) either. His first appearance was when Pauline brought him home from hospital in episode 49 (4th August 1985).
