Thunderbolts and Blade[edit]

This two movies were moved to Phase Six, but there are sources for this? Maybe Fantastic Four is part of Phase Five now--79.50.113.179 (talk) 11:11, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fantastic Four has been confirmed to be part of Phase 6, not 5. It was originally stated that Blade would be the final film of Phase 5, but with delays and schedule changes, CA BNW will be the final JEDIMASTER2008 (talk) 08:25, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Has been Fantastic Four confirmied to be part of Phase 6 after delays and schedule changes? Originally Thunderbolts and Blade Has been confirmied to be part of Phase 5 and Fantastic Four to be part of Phase 6, but there is no information about changing phases. Lado85 (talk) 11:30, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Try this one. IKhitron (talk) 11:41, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is already mentioned and sourced in this article's "Development" section: "Disney delayed several films to accommodate for the resumption of production. Deadpool 3 was moved to July 26, 2024, Brave New World to February 14, 2025, Thunderbolts to July 25, 2025, and Blade to November 7, 2025, with the latter two now set for release during Phase Six." Fantastic Four was always in Phase Six. Trailblazer101 (talk) 15:53, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moving YFNSP, Marvel Zombies, and Eye of Wakanda to this Phase[edit]

Given all three are releasing in 2024, they would in theory come out before Brave New World, which is at this moment what we are considering the end of this Phase. I think we should move all three here, though there are current discussions happening at the Eye draft if that should be interpreted as the same untitled Wakanda/Okoye series. Knowing how we handle that will then make it easier to know all the info we do and do not need to move over. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:09, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the same with the Phase placement, though I held off on it given we don't presently have a source saying such. (If only Marvel.com made dedicated articles and updated the listings!) I have also responded at the Eyes draft with my thoughts. Trailblazer101 (talk) 18:19, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think we can make the Phase moves, just obviously knowing we'll need updated referencing whenever that comes. We shouldn't mention the phases in the drafts/articles yet I think though. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:34, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is what I think as well. Hopefully by this summer we'll get updated sources for the phases. -- ZooBlazer 18:45, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with that approach. Trailblazer101 (talk) 19:49, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I really think that Zombies should be removed from 2024 schedule, after the fresh announcement about the animated series for this year that does not include it. IKhitron (talk) 21:33, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We are not going to remove it as it has not been officially dropped from that release. Mere speculation at the lack of its mention is not sufficient evidence for that. Trailblazer101 (talk) 04:15, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Disney has sent out a press release with their 2024 slate and Marvel Zombies isn't listed. Aldwiki1 (talk) 01:45, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Again, it's absence is not enough justification to remove it yet, as it was noticeably not included in the "Not Yet Dated" unlike X-Men '97 and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which we know are both releasing in 2024 per Marvel's recent event. Without a reliable source saying it is no longer releasing in 2024, we cannot infer this ourselves or make such a change. Trailblazer101 (talk) 02:20, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The list does seem definitive in the titles for release, though that hasn't stopped them from releasing titles not on such lists in the past. I agree that we should keep it until it is confirmed to not be releasing next year (and not just with a source saying because it's not on this list then it isn't coming next year). - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:04, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As I can this, the "not dated yet" means titles that still may find thereselves scheduled to 2024, and being Marvel Zombies excluded from there proves that the series is for sure not considered for scheduling in this year. IKhitron (talk) 20:45, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That is not confirmed by this press release. You are inferring this which is WP:SYNTHESIS and WP:Original research, which is prohibited. Trailblazer101 (talk) 22:59, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I believe that it is exactly what is said there, without any need for inferring, but nevermind. IKhitron (talk) 00:40, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Unless it is directly, explicitly stated without anyone coming to their own conclusions, we cannot state it. Trailblazer101 (talk) 01:16, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So since we've made these moves, Variety has indicated that Zombies is currently undated. This tracks with what Marvel has formally revealed for this year's releases (not included) plus Bryan Andrew's comments about its release. How should we handle this? Should we remove it from here and put it back in the list of series and the Phase Seven draft? Seems like the best course of action at the moment. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 20:29, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think that is likely what we should do given the total ambiguity of when a lot of these series are releasing, let alone what Phase they are actually in. I would support this move, especially given the uncertainty of its release. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:38, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it probably makes sense to have it outside of the phases with Wonder Man until we get a new release date. - adamstom97 (talk) 22:45, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:44, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Add Stephan Franck to directors list of What if S2[edit]

Franck was revealed to be director of episode 1 of Season 2, not sure if it should be Andrews or Franck first since Andrews directs the other 8. -TrixieCat123 (User talk:TrixieCat123) -TrixieCat123 (User talk:TrixieCat123) 00:17, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Column merge[edit]

The update column for Daredevil Born Again and Ironheart need to be merged. I have no idea how to merge them though. JEDIMASTER2008 (talk) 14:00, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Due to technical restrictions with Born Again being split into two-parts in the table, the rowspan for that column could not function properly. Unless there is a way I completely missed. Trailblazer101 (talk) 15:08, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it just occurred to me that the second part of BA should not be listed as "Post-production" given it seems they just filmed the first part, so I've adjusted that. Trailblazer101 (talk) 18:15, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, do we even have sources saying only the first part was filmed?
Stranger Things Season 4 was done in its entirety but was released in two parts. JEDIMASTER2008 (talk) 00:30, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I may have jumped the gun on that a little bit, though it doesn't seem like they filmed the second part yet given most of the new crew was only working on the first part and even as and after filming wrapped, new cast members and more filming was revealed to have took place. I know there are rumors saying the second part will film in November, though I honestly don't see how they could have filmed both parts in the timeframe from when it resumed to when it wrapped this month. That's why I changed it to "Pre-production" for the second part, because even listing the whole series as in post was incorrect as we never had sources confirming that any filming was taking place for the second part. Trailblazer101 (talk) 00:34, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For clarification, our source for Born Again "wrapping" was a wrap party photo, with parties many times occurring before the actual end of filming. That's why we had the party photo and then a day or so after the photos of Vanessa and Fisk. That means only the intended first part (9 eps is it?) has been completed (to our knowledge). - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:30, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
