The character is in the public domain, as are many of the Fawcett characters. However, DC has long used the Fawcett characters as if they owned them, and other publishers have mostly avoided using them, because no one wants the expense of having to deal with a well-funded corporate legal department, even if that large corporation might not really have a case.--Drvanthorp (talk) 05:30, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
