Identity with Dean of Arches[edit]

Lord Mackay of Clashfern (ed.) (1997) Halsbury's Laws of England, 4th ed. Vol.14, "Ecclesiastical Law", 1273 says this is so and cites Coke and Burn. However, the two lists clearly diverge before Dodson. Anybody have any ideas?Cutler (talk) 21:19, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

History - powers of Master of Faculties[edit]

I am reluctant to delete these asserted powers, as they may have originally resided with the Master, but Faculties to introduce into churches chattels such as those described would now be granted by the Diocesan Chancellor through the local Diocesan Registry. I cannot see that the Master of the Faculties would in the present day be involved in this.Ntmr (talk) 21:06, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
