FIFA and Uruguayan sources have it as Cardaccio. Please provide more support for Cardacio, or I'll revert. Jogurney (talk) 14:32, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The official website announced that is Cardacio but not Cardaccio."http://www.acmilan.com/LM_Actor.aspx?idSquadra=3&idStagione=15&idPersona=7798&name=Cardacio%20Mathias" Freefast (talk) 22:37, 25 August 2008 (HKSAR)

Name: definitively Cardacio[edit]

On #35 of the Italian weekly magazine Guerin Sportivo the controversy about his name is solved: his father is Alberto Cardaccio, Uruguayan 1974 World Cup player, clearly of Italian origins. The Spanish pronunciation of his surname led the anagraphic register to write his son's surname Cardacio. --necronudist (talk) 20:34, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
