Record[edit]

I went over his full fight record the other day made it more informative and put it in a better table hope you dont mind, it took quite a while iv also done Audley Harrisons and Danny Williams, Maybe some one might take alook at Vladine Biosse page i created you can improve it if you want also as I am trying to make my contributions to boxing wiki has their are many up an comer fighters and earlier you start with the prospects more info you get on them thats accurate Biosse isnt so young though he's a late starter he' 7-0 at age of 28 but he's good so i thought id start one maybe you guys will take a look

Boxing Style[edit]

I'm not sure what style Skelton uses. He is often described as having an unusual way of fighting but I am unsure if this means unorthodox or if unorthodox would have a specific meaning within boxing? Also I'm not sure how we can go about getting a picture to use for this that is allowed under GNU?--Wikipediatastic 13:00, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's usually Orthodox, or Southpaw. Left lead or right lead. Being a non-professional disaster looking fighter, like Skelton, isn't really a boxing "style" as should be used in the infobox. In this case though it seems to fit. ->Btl 02:34, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

well he is a professional boxer with a good record so i disagree with that point ; 'Being a non-professional disaster looking fighter, like Skelton, isn't really a boxing "style" but agree that unorthodox suits the infobox. As shown in his last fight again danny willaims, his technical skills have improved drastically so maybe this needs looking at again in a few months

Fair use rationale for Image:MattSkelton.jpg[edit]

Image:MattSkelton.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:36, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WBU 'lightly regarded'[edit]

Why is WBU considered as "Lightly regarded" (something not included on the wiki entry about it) when some of the champions to have held WBU belts (Hatton, Foreman, Sanders etc) were pretty well respected fighters? (37.31.81.116 (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2014 (UTC))[reply]
