Maura Higgins (TV personality) → Maura Higgins – The page was created as Maura Higgins (TV personality) because Maura Higgins was created as a redirect so the page needs to be moved. Mega Mixed Grill (talk) 20:11, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- Maura Higgins has page histories. I think that this should be merged or hist-merged to Maura Higgins. Maura Higgins's last edition is User:Rosguill's redirection. This will be likely to convert into a redirect. Sawol (talk) 16:16, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
I tried to create the page under the name Maura Higgins but was unable to do so I would appreciate it if we could get rid of the (TV personality) part. Thanks LaVozSA (talk) 17:05, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- Note that the editor requesting the move is a banned editor who's account is now blocked. When you have an editor who's second edit is a RM on an article with a history of socking, it's a sock.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:16, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Ponyo: Now the base title Maura Higgins is a redirect to the TV series while Maura Higgins (TV personality) is now an article again, this doesn't make sense per WP:PRECISE since the article doesn't appear to need disambiguation. I wasn't aware of the socking issue so if you want I can revert my close but I'm not sure what there is to discuss anyway if this is indeed the only topic though, as noted a history merge may be needed though. - It's unfortunate that LaVozSA chose to create the article under the disambiguated name instead of contacting the protecting admin. I see you closed the RM as "moved", but I don't see in either article history that Maura Higgins (TV personality) was ever actually moved to Maura Higgins? It looks like the banned editor just redirected the disambiguated name and undid the redirect at Maura Higgins. I can actually perform the move if it will make things easier.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:43, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
- OK, I see that Maura Higgins (TV personality) was only created on the 27th while the base name Maura Higgins was created as a redirect in July 2019 and created as an article first in January 2020 by and IP. I can see that the base title has had a history of reverts. I guess history merging Maura Higgins (TV personality) to Maura Higgins might work but they're a bit of parallel histories. The thing is what to do with the history currently at "Maura Higgins" if "Maura Higgins (TV personality)" is moved there? Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:53, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Sorry I didn't contact the protecting admin I was unaware of who it was and how to access who it was. I'll keep it noted if I create anymore pages in the future. LaVozSA (talk) 20:03, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
