Untitled[edit]

Just to say I added this page because a link to this Max Jacob was redirecting to Max Jacob the French writer and painter. I read the German wikipedia article in order to lay down a chronology and some references for Jacob, which is what I've done. I didn't use the German version as a direct guide, but simply put down the facts in chronological order, which means that in effect it's one big paraphrase (but in a different language, and with a few things I knew added, and a few things the German article mentions that I don't). I have looked at some other websites etc and the German wiki looks to be pretty accurate to me.

But my question was -- do I need to attribute anything/make a reference anywhere to make clear what I've done? And, given that it's "factual" information and not judgement or phrasing - beyond what is dictated by the chronology - that I've taken from the German article -- what can or should I do to make it transparent where what came from?

Thanks
