I'm concerned about the reference to Tom Cruise. I'm sure this spurious rumour of his alleged visit to Mayfield is a falsety, and I think it should be removed. Comments? I feel v. strongly about Mayfield.

No mate, he was there. I served him at the shop that day, and retrieved his discarded ice cream stick from the rubbish bin.

this page reads as original research. the only thing resembling a reference is a link to Ashburton.co.nz, which does not verify the many claims in the article Tanifa (talk) 05:33, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a heap of citations, where i could find them, and marked 3 points as needing citations. Tanifa (talk) 05:54, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can't find mayfield in stats nz's census data -- needs a reference for that population estimate. Tanifa (talk) 06:02, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Isbn value error[edit]

I am getting repeated Isbn value error messages in the references field. The publication referenced is the older edition of the work and does not have an ISBN number rather it has a ZBN reference number within the National Library of NZ database. I cannot work out how to suppress this error message. Some help from a more experienced editor would be of help.
